Privacy Policy

This page explains which data is processed by Boothorama 360, why, and for how long. No ads, no trackers.

1. Who is the controller?

The data controller is Boothorama (see legal notice). DPO contact: contact@boothorama360.com.

2. Accounts & authentication

• Anonymous account: no personal identifier is collected. • Google Sign-In (optional): via Firebase Authentication (Google) using OAuth to export videos to YOUR Google Drive. We only receive tokens required for the chosen features. • Sign in with Apple (optional): via Firebase Authentication (Apple) to sign into the app (for example to sync your subscription entitlements across devices). We only receive the technical tokens required and, where you allow it, your e-mail address.

3. Data we process

• Local media: videos/images captured in the app — stored on your device. IMPORTANT: No upload to our servers. Boothorama360 never saves your videos. • Authentication identifiers (Firebase Auth): user uid, provider (Google/Apple/Anonymous) and, where available, profile metadata from the provider (e-mail, name, photo) if you choose to share it. • Google Drive export (optional): when enabled, the rendered video is uploaded to your Drive using Google tokens. The app keeps locally the file ID/share link (for the QR code). • Permissions: camera & microphone (record), storage (save), network (upload). • Subscription: status and purchase identifier from the App Store / Google Play. We do not process card data. • Diagnostics: anonymous crash logs (if enabled at OS level).

3.1 No video storage by Boothorama360

This is important to clarify: Boothorama360 does NOT store, host or save ANY videos. Your captured and edited videos remain entirely on your device until YOU decide to export them to Google Drive. If you enable automatic export, videos go directly to YOUR personal Google Drive account — Boothorama360 has no access to these files except to facilitate the initial export.

4. Purposes

• Provide 360° capture, post-processing and export/sharing. • Enable QR-code sharing of a Drive link. • Manage in-app purchases/subscriptions. • Improve stability via diagnostics.

5. Legal bases

• Contract: core app features (capture, local storage, playback). • Consent: camera/mic permissions; Google Drive export; share link/QR; Google / Apple sign-in. • Legitimate interest: security, fraud prevention, technical improvement using anonymized diagnostics.

6. Retention

• On device: until you delete it in the app. • On Google Drive: as long as you keep it in your Drive. • OAuth tokens: only as long as needed; renewed/invalidated by Google. • Purchase records: as required to manage the subscription and comply with legal obligations.

7. Recipients & third parties

We do not sell data. Authentication is provided by Firebase Authentication (a Google service — project linked to Google Cloud Console). Exports are made to Google Drive. Payments/subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store and/or Google Play. Boothorama does not host your media and does not process card data.

Le projet est hébergé dans Google Cloud Console lié à l'app. Nous n'hébergeons pas vos images/vidéos : les médias restent sur votre appareil, ou dans votre Drive si vous l'activez.

8. International transfers

Google services (Firebase Auth, Google Drive) may involve processing outside the EU. Google applies appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). By enabling Google Sign-In and/or Drive export, you consent to such transfers.

9. Link/QR sharing

If Drive link sharing is enabled, anyone with the link/QR can access the video according to your Drive settings. You may disable sharing or delete the file at any time.

9 bis. Sign-out & Google / Apple access revocation

In the app: you can sign out of your account (Google / Apple). For Google Drive exports, signing out of Google stops future exports. Videos already exported remain in your Drive until you delete them.

10. Deletion

• From the app: "Delete" (local); if enabled, also deletes on Drive. • From Google Drive: delete the file or revoke sharing.

11. Your rights

• Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection. • Withdraw consent (Drive/sharing/Google / Apple sign-in) at any time. • Complain to your supervisory authority (e.g., CNIL in France).

12. Security

Appropriate technical/organizational measures (in-transit encryption for uploads, on-device storage, minimization). Secure your device and Google account (2FA).

13. Minors

Not intended for children under 13. For ages 13–16, parental authorization may be required depending on the country.

14. Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced in-app.
